Established in 1980, the Denver Firefighters Museum preserves the history of the Denver Fire Department and Colorado Firefighting.  Through preservation of artifacts, programming, and exhibits, the museum shares the story of this over 150 year old department. 

 

The museum also presents life safety programming and interactives to over 15,000 students yearly.  This programming teaches students how to be prepared in an emergency, what to do in a fire, and even a person in full firefighting gear.
